Staff Analysis of the Legislation
HB 390 amends Title 40 of the OCGA by revising the point system for habityally negligent or dangerous drivers. Line 25-26 adds "except in instances specifically exempted" for the disobedience of any traffic-control device or traffic officer. In addition no spoint shall be asssessed and no more than $100 can be charged for a violation of rolling a stop sign at less than 5 miles per hour.
